We are proud of the products we use and are constantly looking at new ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We encourage you to help us on our journey to reduce, reuse and recycle where possible. We will soon be launching our circular recycling initiative which is outlined below and would be really grateful for everyone who gets involved.

Boxing

Our boxes are 100% curb side recyclable. Pop them out for collection, and help them continue to move through the cycle.

Wool Insulation

Our wool insulation is 100% biodegradable and makes a great addition to any compost bin, worm farm or garden. It is purchased as a byproduct from N.Z farmers, and is then recycled into an innovative insulation product which keeps your food fresh and cold.

Bags & Pouches

All of our pouches and vac bags are made from plant-based certified home compostable biofilm and are fully biodegradable and compostable. They break down over 90 days into healthy compost leaving no microplastics and conform to all major compost certifications. We encourage you to throw these in your compost or put them in your green bin. All other bags or pouches are fully recyclable.

Ice Packs

Our Ice packs are 100% curbside recyclable. The plastic outer is created with non-leeching BPA-free plastics. The inner is made from a super absorbent polyacrylate, and salt. Our ice packs are 100% non-toxic, the gel is suitable to dispose of in any sink with running water.

Circular Recycling Programme

We are working hard to create a Circular Recycling Programme for our products. We are able to reuse (or otherwise recycle) our wool insulation liners and ice packs. So if you find your garden doesn’t need a new weed mat, or your curbside recycling bin and green bin are full, we’d love for you to send us back your wool insulation liner and ice packs.  This iniative will soon be launched so watch this space!
